It's been a very, very busy summer thus far and we've been extremely lucky to travel the country and visit some incredible venues.
Our brides and grooms really do have fantastic taste and what we're loving is that there has been such great variety this year!
From weddings abroad to the local village hall to the marquee / tipi in a field to the stately home, we've supplied them all.
Here is part 1 of a few of our top styles that we love and that we have supplied light up letters, festoons and or fairy lights.
Outdoor Wedding abroad
In June we were so excited as two of the team drove over to the south of France and Marbella for two incredible weddings.
The first stop was in Beziers. The venue, a beautiful chateau with incredible grounds.
We supplied 500m festoons and two lots of light up letters. It was the first time working over in France and it all seemed to go without a hitch. Take a look at the pics 😍
We then made our way over to even hotter Marbella to a beautiful hotel called 'Villa Padierna'. What a beautiful place and again it was an outdoor wedding.
Tipi / Marquee Wedding
We've been to some magical tipi and marquee weddings this year.
Although the floors may sometimes be slightly uneven because of the ground underneath, we always bring stands for our letters so they stand up straight and don't fall over when 'Uncle Dave' shows off his dancing moves .
Marquee and tipi weddings can often feel like more work in terms of organisation but we feel that it gives a bit more freedom to do the wedding you've always wanted, filling it with your own style and using the space as a blank canvas to get your creative hat on.
The cost may seem a lot at the time but think of the money you can save by bringing in your own caterers, bar, dj, band etc. You can spend a little or a lot but either way you're going to get the chance to put your own stamp on things and take control of the venue from the start.
We just love supplying fairy lights, dancefloors, light up letters and festoons for marquee / tipi weddings and here's a few shots from a couple of this years weddings.
Wedding In a barn / outbuilding
Now we love this style of wedding for all the same reasons as a marquee wedding.
You get a blank canvas to work with and you can really make use of the rustic beams and brick. Use them to your advantage and make a feature of them, don't hide them.
You may have to bring in your own bar, toilets, tables etc but again you get to stamp your own creativity on the wedding and it can often be cheaper to hire a barn for a weekend. Even better if you have a family member with a farm who doesn't mind you using their barn for your special day!
Go for a warm bulb to keep in line with the rustic look...
